Thin Sole!
The tops are wonderful! Comfortable, wears well. But the sole is another story. The black rubber on the ball area is thin. I drive a truck (meaning I don't walk so much), and the sole wears out in 9 months or so!ErrolV
Comfortable, Not Durable
I bought these as yard work boots knowing that they would not be worn every day. I liked how they are real leather, but didn't know what to expect. I have had them a month now, so here is a review based on actual use.
I wasn't really expecting much, but was very surprised that they are very comfortable. I have worn them for probably four full days of outdoor work, and have had no issues with the leather upper ripping or coming unsewn.
Where I do have a big problem is that after a couple of days of digging with a shovel, the soles of these boots are almost gone. This is where the manufacturer went cheap...with a very soft sole material that will not stand up to any kind of real work like pushing into a shovel into the ground for a few hours. All the tread is just about worn smooth....again after only a few days of work.
So, if you plan on really working these work boots...they won't last. If you are just going to wear them around, they may be fine.Tiger865
Great Work Boot for a reasonable price
I have owned the Brahma boots for six months now and wanted to leave a review for them. They are reliable work boots and have lasted through everyday use and work as a auto mechanic. I need boots because I am constantly on concrete working on cars and oil/antifreeze/ and other various chemicals are getting spilled on them. I am not easy on these boots and they have held up very well. Definitely worth the money spent. I understand people are writing reviews that they are not that comfortable. Well these are not the Reebok shoes you are used to wearing. These boots are made to work and withstand the work. These are great boots and if you feel they are uncomfortable you can spend a 1.50 at Walmart and put in a insert that will make them very comfortable. The gel ones make these boots feel like you are walking on air. I would recommend these boots for anyone looking for a good quality work boot for a great price.FordMechanic83
These are extremely cheap boots with a foam sole.
These are extremely cheap boots with a foam sole. They are not very durable while the leather does hold out well the rest of the boot is junk. Bought the first pair and they only lasted about 17 days then I bought the second pair from a different Walmart thinking maybe I'd just got a bad pair of boots, and the second pair turned out to be just as bad. The metal hook Loops for the laces snap off and the laces that came with the boots are garbage. The second pair I have made it 2 weeks before the sole was completely worn off of them. So in five weeks of ownership I went through two pairs of boots that had the exact same issues where I wore a hole right through the bottom of them. Where I work is dirt and gravel and concrete I guess if you're going to wear them in the grass or maybe on carpet all day they may be durable but on anything that has any type of friction it will destroy them. I am very disappointed in them.Yardboss
Great Comfy Boot! Great Price! You may also be interested in
Considering the low price I paid for them I didnât expect them to hold up as well as they did. They lasted me well over three years. I bought mine because I worked at Samâs Club where the floors were concrete and then at Walmart where I was on my feet all day. They were really comfortable especially after I put arch supports and foam insole pads in them. The easy lacing and mid high padded ankle make them a good support boot. To make them more waterproof and protected I sprayed them with a suede protector and brushed the nap with a rubber suede brush every so often to keep them looking good. They do become dull looking and stained because the suede is a light color so washing them with a little dish soap every so often did help. Eventually the soles and seams became cracked and let in water. No amount of shoe glue worked thus my second pair which lasted me another few years.
All in all you canât beat them for the money.MelMel
