Work for me
I am a 67 year old worker in a clean machine shop on my feet all day. I have messed up feet with plantar fibroma on my arch and a weird calloused toe on the other which with this width has not affected at all. There is a little slippage in the back but I can handle that. I have spent a lot of money on inserts and even bought a pair of Timberland shoes for 105.00 that felt great but after five hours the arch was killing me . I never would even thought of buying a 16.00 pair of shoes from Wally but after reading reviews I thought what the heck I am desperate and gave it a try. I have only wore these six days and I make it through without pain. I have gotten small amounts of oil and coolant on them and they wipe off nicely. I have walked on small metal chips and no problems but I try to avoid them. I cannot comment on durability for my use yet but I am not wearing them as construction shoes and I have no doubt they will last a couple of months or more. In any case I am ordering another pair or two. If they only last a month it will still be cheaper than buying inserts for old shoes. A little too early to say they are the best shoes I ever had but all I know for now they get me through an eight hour day.Markraider
My Husband the Roofer LOVES these!!
My husband's vocation as a Roofer requires lifting/carrying heavy equipment over often slippery surfaces, so comfort and safety are paramount. When the project doesn't require steel-toe boots, he wears these. I've tried so many brands--first, he has extra-wide feet (size 13) -- these come in a super-wide width--and he tells me they provide better 'non slip' traction than the name brand non skid work shoes which take up an entire aisle at my local walmart. Furthermore, he says they're far more 'cushy' and comfortable than the name brand non-skid....and they are 1/2 the price. I saw one negative interview from somebody complaining how they fell apart after three months---to him I say "WHO CARES...they're only $15 bucks!!" I've bought other brands costing more than $60 that have done the same thing--A Roofer's footwear gets TRASHED. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone with wide feet who spends a lot of time "on their feet". While he's only had them for a short time, I cannot comment on their durability, but again, for $15, I will have no issues replacing them, as the comfort and excellent 'non-skid" properties make them a 'must have'.Karen77
Bought these before I started a new job last June and they held up fine, could still wear them but they're getting kinda nasty. I drive a garbage truck and each day I go to the local land fill and empty my truck. walking in the mud and garbage took it's toll and them but just recently the sole was wearing a bit thin and a couple small holes on the sides but for the money and how long they lasted I'm REALLY impressed!! I also get in and out of the truck over 100 times a day and most of the roads out here are dirt and rock!campingatwork
